KUMI KORF
Kumi Korf, whose work uses a wide range of media and techniques, holds an MFA in printmaking from Cornell University. She studied architecture in her native Japan. Her most recent concentration is on intaglio printmaking and artists' books and teaches sculptural book workshops nationwide. Annual solo exhibitions are at Chandler Fine Art, San Francisco, with others nationally and internationally. Her work is included in many museums and library collections including the Library of Congress; New York Public Library; Johnson Museum of Art, Ithaca, NY; Cleveland Museum of Art; Getty Research Library; Museum of Modern Art Library; Harvard University Houghton Library; Tate Library; Victoria & Albert Museum. National Museum of Women in the Arts; Alexandria Library, Egypt.
